  • Movement Building

    The Movement Building beckons you to invigorate your body and spirit. This space is dedicated to fostering vitality through fitness, yoga, and movement classes that cater to various levels and preferences.

  • Activity Building

    Opportunities for self-discovery await through fiber arts, clay & pottery, needle point, wool needle felting, painting, fly-tying and other tactile craft activities. Engage in classes, workshops and interactive sessions.

  • Reception & Bittersweet

    This central hub offers a warm check-in experience but also houses our restaurant, Bittersweet. It contains two fireplaces - one new & one 100+ years old - and multiple living room and sitting areas for social activities or self-retreat.

  • Swimming Pool

    Our indoor swimming pool & hot tub offers a refreshing aquatic escape whether you're looking for invigorating laps or a relaxing soak.

  • Tennis Courts

    Our tennis courts are the perfect arena for matches with friends or refine your skills through personalized coaching.

    Our courtyard is the centerpiece of our garden program. It includes indigenous plants to the Catskills, along with sitting areas to enjoy nature.

    Our private trail system links over 5 miles of mature pathways through our Catskill meadows & woods. From a leisurely walk to a snowshoeing adventure, you do not need to leave our property to have a full hiking experience.

  • The Meadows

    Home to our natural pollinators, our wildflower filled meadows offer a peaceful sanctuary for outdoor activities, leisurely walks, and moments of contemplation.

  • Goat Barn & Field

    Wander through this whimsical space where our friendly goats graze and play. Find joy in the company of our furry friends, and experience the therapeutic effect of nature's simplest pleasures.

  • The Orchard

    The homestead’s original 70+ year old apple trees still provide a classic Catskills tradition in the fall. 

History

Nestled in the heart of the Catskills, Hemlock is graced with a rich history that intertwines with the captivating landscape of Neversink.

In the 19th century, the Catskills and Neversink region began to draw visitors seeking respite from city life, lured by the area's pristine natural beauty and fresh mountain air. Over time, the land evolved into a destination for rejuvenation and escape, with various lodgings catering to those in search of health and relaxation.

In the 1970s, our property became the New Age Health Spa, which was envisioned as a haven where the healing power of nature converged with holistic practices. Our commitment is to preserving the property's legacy while enhancing its offerings. We hope Hemlock Neversink’s chapter is as impactful and transformative for guests as our predecessors.
